These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Knowverse mobile application and related services.
By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, you must not create an account or use Knowverse.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Knowverse.
Where the law in your country requires you to be older to enter into these Terms independently, you may use Knowverse only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
By using Knowverse, you confirm that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
A Knowverse account is required to use the application. Accounts may be created through supported authentication services, including Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In.
You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account, including activity resulting from access you have voluntarily provided to another person.
You must promptly notify Knowverse if you believe that your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.
You may delete your account at any time through the account settings available within the application.
Knowverse grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the application and its content for your own non-commercial educational purposes.
This permission does not transfer any ownership rights in Knowverse or its content.

The content does not constitute medical, legal, financial, investment, psychological, safety, or other professional advice.
Although reasonable efforts may be made to provide useful and accurate educational material, Knowverse does not guarantee that every course or statement is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
You remain responsible for evaluating information before relying on it, particularly where a decision may affect your health, finances, legal rights, safety, education, or professional activities.
Appropriate professional advice should be obtained where necessary.
Knowverse and all content made available through the application are owned by or licensed to the operator of Knowverse.

The Knowverse name, branding, application, and content may not be used except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
Users may report suspected errors or suggest corrections by contacting:
Knowverse may review submitted reports but is not required to adopt a suggested correction or make a change within a particular period.
Feedback and general improvement suggestions voluntarily submitted regarding Knowverse may be used to operate, develop, and improve the application without payment or obligation to the person providing them.
Knowverse may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob or other advertising providers.
Advertisements may be personalised where the necessary consent and permissions have been provided. Advertising preferences may be managed through the privacy settings available within Knowverse and through applicable device settings.
Advertisers are responsible for the products, services, statements, and offers contained in their advertisements. The display of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by Knowverse.
Your interactions or transactions with an advertiser are between you and the advertiser, subject to applicable law.

Knowverse may depend on or provide access to third-party services, including authentication providers, cloud infrastructure, advertising services, notification services, app stores, and external websites.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
To the extent permitted by law, Knowverse is not responsible for:

Knowverse may modify, update, replace, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the application, including courses, features, functionality, or availability.
Content may be added, corrected, reorganised, or removed.

Where appropriate and legally required, the user will be informed of the reason for the action and given an opportunity to address the issue.
Serious, repeated, fraudulent, unlawful, or security-related conduct may result in immediate suspension or termination.

Paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid features may be introduced in the future.
Before a charge is made, the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, included features, and cancellation conditions will be presented to the user.
Paid transactions may be processed through Apple, Google, or another payment provider and may also be subject to that provider's terms.
No charge will be made without the user taking the steps required to approve the purchase.

The Privacy Policy is a separate notice and does not form part of these Terms unless applicable law provides otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knowverse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
No express or implied guarantee is made that:
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knowverse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss arising from the use of or inability to use the application, including loss of data, opportunity, anticipated savings, or business.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any mandatory consumer right where such exclusion would be unlawful.
You are responsible for losses or claims resulting from your unlawful use of Knowverse or your material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This provision does not require a consumer to compensate Knowverse for matters outside the consumer's responsibility and does not restrict mandatory consumer protections.
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to Knowverse, its features, legal requirements, service providers, business model, or security practices.
The revised Terms will be made available through the application or another appropriate location.
Material changes will be communicated through reasonable advance notice where required by applicable law.
Where required by applicable law, material changes will apply only after appropriate notice or renewed acceptance. Continued use of Knowverse will not by itself constitute acceptance where express consent is legally required.
Changes required to address legal obligations, security risks, fraud, abuse, or urgent technical matters may take effect without advance notice where permitted by law.
Where Knowverse is downloaded through Apple's App Store, use of the application is also subject to the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and the Knowverse iOS End-User Licence Agreement.
If these Terms conflict with the iOS End-User Licence Agreement regarding the licence to install or use the iOS application, the iOS End-User Licence Agreement will apply to that licence.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections granted by the law of the country in which you ordinarily reside.
Before commencing formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact Knowverse so that the matter may be considered and, where possible, resolved informally.
Subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Austria.
Consumers may retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence where applicable law provides that right.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
A failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written permission.
Knowverse may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a lawful restructuring, transfer, or change in operation, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.
These Terms, together with any additional terms presented for a specific feature, constitute the agreement governing your use of Knowverse.
