This End-User Licence Agreement governs your use of the iOS version of the Knowverse mobile application obtained through Apple's App Store.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Knowverse, you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree, you must not install or use the application.
This agreement is concluded solely between you and the application provider identified in Section 22, and not with Apple Inc.
The application provider, and not Apple, is solely responsible for Knowverse and its content, subject to the provisions and limitations of this agreement.
Apple is not a party to this agreement except as an expressly identified third-party beneficiary.
Subject to your compliance with this agreement, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to use Knowverse on Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules contained in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Knowverse may also be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where permitted by Apple's Usage Rules.
The application is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted under this agreement are reserved.

These restrictions do not apply where and only to the extent that they are prohibited by applicable law or permitted under the licence terms governing open-source components included in Knowverse.
If you transfer ownership of an Apple device, you must remove Knowverse from that device before doing so.
Knowverse content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
The content does not constitute medical, legal, financial, investment, psychological, safety, or other professional advice.
No guarantee is made that all content will be complete, current, accurate, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for evaluating information before relying on it and for obtaining appropriate professional advice where necessary.
The application provider is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for Knowverse to the extent specified in this agreement or required by applicable law.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for Knowverse.
Support requests may be submitted to:
Knowverse may provide updates, corrections, modifications, or replacement versions of the application.
This agreement will apply to updates that replace or supplement Knowverse unless an update is accompanied by a separate licence agreement.
Features, courses, content, or functionality may be modified, replaced, suspended, or discontinued.
Where required by applicable law, reasonable notice will be provided before a material change that significantly affects users.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knowverse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The application provider is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent that they have not been validly disclaimed.
If Knowverse fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple. Where applicable, Apple may refund the purchase price paid for the application.
Because Knowverse is currently available free of charge, the applicable purchase price may be zero.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding Knowverse.
Any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure by Knowverse to conform to an applicable warranty are the responsibility of the application provider, subject to applicable law.
The application provider, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims made by you or a third party concerning Knowverse or your possession or use of Knowverse.
This includes:
Nothing in this agreement limits liability beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
If a third party claims that Knowverse, or your possession or use of Knowverse, infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights, the application provider, and not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
You must promptly notify the application provider of any such claim using the contact information provided in this agreement.
Knowverse and all courses, learning materials, text, graphics, exercises, software, databases, design, branding, and other content made available through the application are owned by or licensed to the application provider.
This agreement does not transfer ownership of Knowverse or its content to you.
Knowverse content may be used only for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, publicly publish, or commercially exploit Knowverse content without prior written permission.
Knowverse may use or provide access to third-party services, including:
Third-party services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
You must comply with applicable third-party agreements when using Knowverse, including the terms governing your Apple account, Apple device, network service, authentication provider, and any external service you access.
Apple is not responsible for examining or evaluating third-party services, their content, their availability, or their accuracy.
Knowverse may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob or another advertising provider.
Advertisements may be personalised where the required consent and device permissions have been provided.
Advertising providers and advertisers are responsible for their respective advertisements, products, services, representations, and offers.
The display of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement by the application provider or Apple.

Personal data is processed as described in the Knowverse Privacy Policy.
Technical data may be processed where necessary to provide updates, support, security, diagnostics, and related services.
Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple's applicable privacy terms.
By using Knowverse, you represent and warrant that:
You must not use, export, or re-export Knowverse in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, or trade laws.
Your licence remains effective until terminated by you or by the application provider.
You may terminate the licence by deleting Knowverse and discontinuing its use. You may separately delete your Knowverse account through the account settings available within the application.
The application provider may suspend or terminate your account or licence where reasonably necessary because of:
Your rights under this agreement may terminate automatically if you materially fail to comply with its provisions.
Upon termination, you must stop using Knowverse and delete all copies under your control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the application provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from the use of or inability to use Knowverse.
Knowverse is not responsible for loss arising from:
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.
Apple has no liability for claims relating to Knowverse except to the extent expressly imposed on Apple by applicable law or stated in this agreement.
Paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid features may be introduced in the future.
Before a charge is made, the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, included features, and cancellation conditions will be presented to you.
Purchases made through Apple may be processed and administered by Apple and will also be subject to Apple's applicable payment, subscription, and refund terms.
No charge will be made without the user taking the steps required to approve the purchase.
This agreement may be updated to reflect changes to Knowverse, applicable law, Apple requirements, service providers, security practices, or the application's business model.
Material changes will be communicated through reasonable advance notice where required by law.
Where required by applicable law, material changes will apply only after appropriate notice or renewed acceptance. Continued use will not by itself constitute acceptance where express consent is legally required.
Changes required to address legal obligations, security risks, fraud, abuse, or urgent technical matters may take effect without advance notice where permitted by law.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections granted under the law of the country in which you ordinarily reside.
Before commencing formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact the application provider so that the matter may be considered and, where possible, resolved informally.
Subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Austria.
Consumers may retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence where applicable law provides that right.
You and the application provider acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement.
Upon your acceptance of this agreement, Apple will have the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
A failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under this agreement without prior written permission, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
This agreement, the Knowverse Terms of Service, the Knowverse Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented for a specific feature constitute the agreements governing your use of Knowverse.
If there is a conflict concerning the licence to install or use the iOS application, this End-User Licence Agreement will take precedence over the Knowverse Terms of Service.
